Q : What if my party size is greater than four?

Q : What if my family have allergies or intolerances?

Q : What if one of our party is disabled?

A : If your party is greater than four, please book the number of seats that you require adjacent to each other in the same coach. When you arrive at the railway to travel on the train, the volunteers will allocate you to seats that are next to each other.

A : The volunteers have vegan and vegetarian options, however please do remember to ask at the kiosk for vegan or vegetarian options.

A : There are two wheelchair spaces on the train in Coach A.  There are four seats adjacent to the wheelchair spaces for attendants. If your party size is greater than four people plus two wheelchairs, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us before booking.

Q : What if we need assistance?

A : If you require additional assistance please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will endeavour to assist where possible?

Q : Do we need to print out our tickets?

A : It is not always necessary to print out the tickets, please either arrive at the railway with your tickets printed, or the booking confirmation available on your mobile device.

Q : What if I need to change my tickets to another service ?

A : We recommend that you first book the new service to ensure you are not left without a booking.  Then contact the webmaster@deeside-railway.co.uk to request a ticket change and provide the date and time of your original booking.  The webmaster will then cancel your original booking and issue a refund, less the £5 change of booking fee.  Please note that bookings cannot be changed less than 7 days before the original booked service.

Q : How long will the experience last?

Q : When should we arrive ?

A : The train journey will last approximately twenty minutes, and the Santa Visit will last approximately twenty minutes, about 30 - 45 minutes in total .

A : Please arrive at least ten minutes before your trains advertised departure. If you miss the departure time, we cannot guarantee travel.

Q : What if I wish to cancel my booking ?

A : You should contact the webmaster@deeside-railway.co.uk to request a booking cancellation, providing the date and time of your booking.  The webmaster will then cancel your booking and issue a refund, less the £5 admin fee.  Please note that bookings cannot be cancelled less than 7 days before the service or after advance booking has closed.
